One way or another, I know you’ve dealt with anxiety.

Starting school, getting promoted, purchasing a home or vehicle… these are examples of what I refer to as “good anxiety.” They’re life-changing decisions or experiences that may seem a bit scary as you go through them.

You may have had your heart beat so hard it felt like it was going to pound right out of your chest. And you’ve probably clenched your teeth to the point of having a sore jaw as you second-guessed yourself on whether you made the right decision. Nevertheless, the fear was overpowered by excitement, and that’s what pushed you forward.

But there’s also “unwelcomed anxiety.” Maybe you fear leaving home because you’re afraid of having a panic attack. Maybe the thought of other people watching or judging your every move feels unbearable. If you can leave home, you might scan the room for exits as soon as you arrive.

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy helps change the way you think and feel. For example, we’ll transform your negative thoughts into positive, fulfilling statements.

We’ll work on how to turn off those negative thoughts, relax the tension, and gain control over your feelings and emotions.
